The Challenge is split up into three age categories. Scouts and Guides have two of these and they are split up into:
Young Scouts & Guides – aged 10 1/2 to 12 1/2
Old Scouts and Guides – aged 12 1/2 to 14 1/2 – Scouts can move to Explorers at the age of 14 and if they have done so should NOT be entered as a Scout in this competition even if they are still under 14 1/2! If they have registered as an Explorer then they need to enter the explorer section competition!
The competition will accept joint Scout and Guide teams as long as they are in the same age categories.
